Wā by Cleo is based in Aotearoa New Zealand, and all personal information is managed under New Zealand privacy law. International clients acknowledge that New Zealand law governs the handling of personal information. 1. Whanaungatanga – Connection

We prioritise genuine connection.
I collect only the information you choose to share, such as your name, email address, and details you provide when joining a programme, subscribing, or contacting Wā.
You will receive newsletters or updates only if you have clearly opted in or asked to stay connected. Consent is always voluntary, informed, and easy to withdraw at any time.

2. Manaakitanga – Care

We uplift and honour others.
Your information is used only to:

  • Deliver services, programmes, or communications you have requested

  • Share Wā updates or podcast releases you have subscribed to

  • Improve future offerings in ways that support the Wā community

Wā never sells or rents personal information.
If a privacy breach occurs that could cause serious harm, affected individuals and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner will be notified in accordance with the 2025 Amendment.

3. Kotahitanga – Unity

We move with unity and shared intention.
Information is stored in secure systems such as Google Workspace and Trello.
These providers may store data on servers outside Aotearoa New Zealand but follow strict international privacy and security standards.
Access to these systems is password protected and limited to those who need it for legitimate Wā activities.
Two-factor authentication and regular reviews help ensure your information remains safe.

4. Tino Rangatiratanga – Self-leadership

We value sovereignty and choice.
You have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal information

  • Request a copy of your information in a portable digital format

  • Withdraw consent to communications at any time

Wā’s website may use basic analytics to understand how people engage with content. These tools collect only non-identifiable information such as page visits or reading time.

Wā by Cleo welcomes clients from around the world. If you are based outside New Zealand, your personal information will be processed under New Zealand privacy standards, which the European Commission recognises as providing comparable protection.

This policy may be updated from time to time as privacy standards evolve. Any significant changes will be shared clearly through the Wā website or newsletter.
