The Worthy Goal Practice

Naming the Vision That Calls You Forward

Magnetism draws.
But direction gives it form.

Without a clear goal, your energy can scatter.
With one, it becomes focused, purposeful, alive.

A Worthy Goal is a living invitation to become more of who you truly are.

What Makes a Goal Worthy?

A worthy goal holds tension and potential.
It lives at the intersection of three powerful truths:

  • Thrilling: it excites you and speaks to what you care about.

  • Important: it gives more to the world than it takes.

  • Daunting: a place of learning and growth.

Two out of three won’t do.
It must light you up, challenge you, and give something back.

It is time to wake up your brilliance.

The Practice

1. Set the space
Sit somewhere you can dream clearly. Breathe. Light a candle if you want.

2. Free write responses to each of the three prompts:

  • What would thrill me to create or pursue right now?

  • What feels important, not just for me, but for the world I care about?

  • What feels slightly out of reach, requiring courage, learning, or transformation?

3. Circle the words or ideas that keep pulling at you.

4. Combine them into a single sentence goal.
Start with words like:

“I am committed to… so that… because… ”

5. Sense check:

  • Does it thrill me?

  • Does it feel important?

  • Does it feel a little daunting?

If not, go deeper. Let the goal rise through the tension.

Why It Matters

A Worthy Goal awakens your clarity.
It focuses your magnetism.
It calls forth your courage.
It gives your becoming a direction.

You don’t have to know how you will get there,
only that you are willing to start.
