YOUR GUIDE
Cleo Shortland – Founder of Wā
Cleo is a guide for women in transition. Those standing between who they were and who they are becoming. Through Wā, she creates sacred, practical spaces where dreams that feel soulful and a little scary are given the support they need to become real.
With two decades of experience in yoga, guided meditation, and women’s circles, alongside a professional background in business leadership, asset structuring and project management, Cleo brings a unique balance of grounded planning and intuitive insight to every journey she supports. Her work is as strategic as it is soulful.
She is continuously breathing life into her own evolving dreams, journeying from solo parenting in a big city on less than the living wage to building a supportive family and creating freedom and choice through her unique strengths. This lived experience fuels her passion for supporting women building families, birthing creative projects and conscious businesses, or reshaping their lives around what matters most.
Her 8 week programme blends ritual, coaching, and planning in a deeply supportive container that helps women bring their visions into reality without compromising their values, wellbeing, or integrity.
Rooted in her Māori heritage (Ngāti Hine and Ngā Ariki Kaiputahi), and working across Aotearoa and the world, Cleo walks between the worlds of the sacred and the everyday. She believes when women create from the truth of who they are, they don’t just change their own lives, they ripple transformation outward, for generations.
This is your wā. Your time is now.
