<image:caption>Now you know where your vision belongs. The world needs you to act on it. In 2025, the United Nations confirmed that not a single one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals is on track — and the gap is not one that governments can close alone. It will be closed by visionaries like you, and like Nick Loosely of Everybody Eats, who are already building the world the goals describe. The question is no longer which goals call to you. It's what you do next. Hear Nick's story on the Wā Podcast →</image:caption>

<image:caption>Outside my cabin, there is a familiar visitor. A kingfisher arrives and settles on a branch outside. He sits very still. & then in an instant, he darts away. Over time, I’ve come to experience this bird as a sign that meets me where I am. On the days when I’m impatient to “get there faster”, to force clarity, to make everything happen at once, the kingfisher reminds me: Be patient. Watch carefully. Strike when the time is right.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Each morning, before the world rushes in and before I step into my work, I sit by the window with Yorick. The light is soft. And I’m half asleep. The window is wide open, no matter the season. And I have one of Yorick’s juices. Earthy. Fresh. Alive. We take turns speaking. It doesn’t take long. But by the time we close the window, something inside has opened. We send the kids into the day. We move into our work. But we’ve already aligned with what matters.</image:caption>

<image:title>The Full Library - When Independence Softens - Loosening self reliance and inviting in connection</image:title>
<image:caption>Today I’m offering an exploration of inviting help from others. To be still in vulnerability and move out of hyper-independence by showing that you’re in an uncomfortable place and you need support in realising your vision. This ritual is inspired by my experience with my Sydney podcast series and the challenges I faced venturing into a location where I had no connections. I started the Wā Podcast because I wanted to travel the world and connect in person, to really ground my brand in different cultures. But it’s tough when you’re reaching out to people and they don’t know who you are and through this I faced a lot of rejection. This experience taught me that sometimes, even when you have something wonderful to offer, you need to ask for a little help to open the door.</image:caption>

The ones who know life is too short to walk the traditional paths even when those paths come steady with income, title or reputation. For people like us, “more” doesn’t mean more money. It means more truth. More beauty. More community. More mornings when we wake up alive and ready to create something that matters.</image:caption>

<image:title>The Full Library - The Four Walls of Wellbeing - Te Whare Tapa Whā – Hauora</image:title>
<image:caption>This morning, as I sat down to think about this, a tiny green cricket appeared on the leaf of a plant I have on my desk. It was small, gently swaying, slowly preparing to jump. It felt like a tohu a reminder that wellbeing and abundance often begin in small, almost invisible movements. One tiny movement, one quiet choice, one leaf, one jump. Master Boon refers to Lao Tzu’s quote “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” In te ao Māori, hauora (wellbeing) is often described through Te Whare Tapa Whā the four walls of a whare or house. If one wall is weak or neglected, the whole whare feels it. When each wall is tended to, we feel more grounded and plenished. I’m offering a simple way to look at your own whare using four walls: Taha Wairua: Spiritual / Soul wellbeing Taha Tinana: Physical / Body wellbeing Taha Hinengaro: Mind / Emotions wellbeing Taha Whānau: Family / Relationships wellbeing And then a gentle self-check using a Wheel of Life style reflection so you can see where you are now, and what might need care. Each category is invitational, choose the ones that feel aligned for your life and your vision.</image:caption>

<image:caption>In 2015, every nation on earth agreed on something remarkable: a shared blueprint for the future. 193 countries (rich and poor, large and small) signed on to 17 goals designed to transform our world by 2030. They called it the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. We know it as the Sustainable Development Goals, or the SDGs. This was a universal call to action: to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that all people can live with dignity, opportunity, and peace.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Sometimes it starts as a heaviness. A flatness. Not quite sadness, not quite stuck but… muted. Especially when you’re building, leading, or caring for many people all at once. It’s easy to name it as failure. To assume something is wrong. But often, what is needed is perspective. Because no one area of life can carry the whole weight of your joy. And life isn’t meant to hum at full volume all the time. This ritual is a way to pause. To take stock. To witness what’s unfolding across the full landscape of your life, and remember: there is always something quietly blooming.</image:caption>

<image:caption>For many of us, conflict has felt like danger. Loud voices. Silent treatments. Shaky ground. We have learned to either explode or disappear. To speak too much, or not at all. To hold everything in until it leaks out sideways. But conflict doesn’t have to be harm. It can be healing. When you are bringing new ideas, roles, or ways of working into the world, conflict is inevitable. This ritual helps you meet this with clarity and care. <image:title>The Full Library - Burning The Old Story - Making Space For Who You Are Becoming Sometimes you need to leave parts of yourself behind to go deeper into who you are becoming. The burning ritual is a simple, potent act of shedding. Write down what must be released. All that no longer belongs. Habits. Expectations. Old titles. Roles. Versions of self that once served a purpose but are now standing in the way. Stories inherited or imposed. Voices that have lived too long in the mind. Then burn them. Let the flame consume what has been carried for too long. Let the smoke rise, signalling an unseen shift. Let the ash fall, making way for something new to form.</image:title>
<image:caption>Burning is a reclamation of who you are becoming. Because before anything new can emerge, the space must be cleared. Sometimes, the shift needs to be named aloud. Let others know that something happened and you are changed forever. A turning point. A private reckoning. A decision so deep it rearranged everything.</image:caption>

<image:title>The Full Library - Magnetism Ritual - There is a power in you that draws what’s meant for you closer. It doesn’t come from pushing. It comes from resonance, from standing in your truth, soft and steady, and letting life respond.</image:title>

<image:caption>This is a post about manaakitanga and the woman who showed it to me by living it. There was always a meal when you came for a visit. It didn’t matter whether or not your were expected. Food on the stove, in the cupboards, and in the fridge. Me, my sissy, my cousins, and aunties, all loved being there and were always met with love.</image:caption>

<image:title>The Full Library - Ikigai for Visionaries in the In-Between - Finding your reason for living</image:title>
<image:caption>Ikigai is Japanese for “a reason for being”, blending iki “being” an gai “worth.” And it’s about finding meaning in daily activities rather than waiting until your infinite vision has come into being. When you have outgrown the old role, business, or identity, this is a really good ritual to look at how you wish to live your life. I return to my Ikigai again and again. I remember sitting outside the library, confused about where I was heading. I had grown a successful business but I didn’t want to work in it anymore. Then a man approached me and began to share his story of being in his own in-between and shared a concept I had never heard of before: Ikigai.</image:caption>

<image:title>The Full Library - Moko Kauae, The Right Of Passage Of Cultural Identity For A Wahine Māori - Candy Black (Aunty) has given Cleo Shortland permission to share her story of receiving her moko kauae, which was a privilege to witness as she ignited her rite of passage of cultural identity for a wahine Māori. This is an opinion piece based on Aunty’s individual journey and we do not claim this to be the view of our Iwi or Māori.</image:title>
<image:caption>I am Māori, I am enough. “I am Māori, I am enough.” This is the mantra that Aunty carried with her in the journey to receiving her moko kauae. She isn’t sure when this journey began, but that in the years since her mother (Nana) passed, she has had what she describes as a calling. “I have been slow to respond to this calling. It’s been there. Slowly getting louder.” Aunty said. Aunty’s tā moko journey began when she sought to express her identity through ink on skin. Her first piece encompassed Ranginui and Papatūānuku surrounding the names of each of her tamariki. Her forever. She went on to receive a lot more tā moko over the years.</image:caption>
